Interwoven Perspective_Montage
The perspectives can intersect with each other.
In the dream of Persia, she is becoming young Lily and seeing her past with Claire.
In Claire's Route, she is having a vision of Lily being together with another "healthier girl" (Persia in the future). It deals a heavy emotional blow to her and was one of the factors behind her attempt to kill her parents. And she hurt Lily
It also gives Claire's tragedy a gutting new shape. She doesn't attack her parents only from the pain of her present life. Part of what breaks her is grief for a future she'll never get to have — seeing Lily loved by someone "healthier," someone without Claire's damage, is a kind of premature heartbreak. She's mourning a loss that, from her side of time, hasn't even happened yet. That's a very sad, very human wound, jealousy tangled with self-hatred, tangled with love.
